The Shrewsbury Flower Show is held annually in August at The Quarry in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. The show features a wide variety of exhibits, including floral displays, gardening demonstrations, food and drink stalls, and trade stands. It is the closest show to our head office in Ellesmere and this year we were proud to support Salop Leisure's trade stand and Charlie Green's show garden with a range of our Garden paving products.

Charlie Green's Show Garden: 'A Couples Retreat'

Charlie Green is a renowned garden designer has been in the industry for over 8 years, covering everything from high-end show gardens to overgrown site clearances. His show garden at the Shrewsbury Flower Show was titled A Couples Retreat and featured an outdoor kitchen complete with a pizza oven and homegrown vegetables.

“The concept behind the garden is to create a calm and relaxing dreamscape for a young professional couple who work in very busy corporate jobs,”  says Charlie

We were delighted to see our Antiqued Welsh Midnight Cobbles featured in such a beautiful and creative garden. It was a great way to show how our paving can be used to create stunning outdoor spaces that are beautiful yet functional .

Laura from My.country.home wrote: "A beautiful laid ( westminsterstone )stone sett pathway lead up to an open patio seating area with outdoor kitchen bench and pizza oven- perfect for a couples evening dining. I liked how the silvery tones from the olive tree were brought down into the borders with eucalyptus and how the cor-ten steel edging of the garden was again picked out by the pool (by @luxuniqueuk )"

Charlie was awarded Gold for this garden and well deserved too.

Paving @ Salop Leisure Trade Stand

Salop Leisure is an award-winning caravan and motorhome dealership in the UK and Shrewsbury Flower Show was a great opportunity to showcase their products. Their show garden, led by head groundsman Tom Pountney featured a black shepherd hut from Salop Innovations, a new division of Salop Leisure that aims to service the growing glamping market. Outside of their beautiful shepherd hut was our Lancashire Mill Patio Circle which helped create a cosy area to sit with a table and chairs. Salop Leisure's sister company Love Plants ensured the stand was filled with beautiful flowers and plants and helped to achieve an inviting and whimsical space that highlighted the beauty and versatility of the garden buildings.
