RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026: Recreating the Show’s Best Greenhouse & Garden Looks
For design enthusiasts, the Chelsea Flower Show is the ultimate annual pilgrimage - a place where avant-garde landscaping ideas meet timeless British tradition. This year, Westminster Stone is thrilled to announce our presence at the show, partnering with a curated selection of the industry's finest glasshouse and garden structure specialists to bring breathtaking, productive outdoor visions to life.
Whether you are walking the grounds in London or following the highlights from afar, the true joy of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show gardens lies in taking that inspiration and translating it into your own vision and space. Here is how to capture the look of this year’s standout showcases at home.
1. The Glasshouse Revival: Styling with Alitex
One of our most exciting and long standing partner collaborations is our showcase with Alitex. This year's chelsea flower show stand celebrates the healing power of gardens, the joy of growing your own, and the seamless relationship between premium glass structures and the stone that grounds them. If you are looking for greenhouse ideas to upgrade your own garden, the secret lies in blending Victorian heritage with modern craftsmanship.
The Bespoke Thomas Messenger Greenhouse
At the heart of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show stand sits the striking bespoke Thomas Messenger greenhouse. Inspired by the Victorian engineering pioneer, this bespoke lean-to structure was finished in a signature Downland Stone powder coat with bespoke green fittings and featured productive cold frames either side of the lobby. This space was filled with wonderful heritage plants and vegetables grown at Alitex's HQ using quality seeds from She Grows Veg
To bring texture and warmth to this greenhouse interior, the rear wall was adorned with a beautiful botanical wallpaper by Bertioli, while the floor featured our much loved Jacobean Brick Pavers which have been on Alitex's Chelsea stand for over a decade!

The National Trust Mottisfont Greenhouse
Also gracing the stand is the popular Mottisfont greenhouse from Alitex's National Trust collection, proudly showcased on a Wainscot aluminium base and finished in a classic Greensand hue. This structure balances delicate traditional detailing - such as spike finials, cresting, and internal A-frame spandrels, with modern structural engineering
Every year there is a guest takeover in the Mottisfont and it is always such a joy to explore the creativity each creator brings. This year was in collaboration with the wonderful Augusts_Garden with the theme - Around the World in 80 Seeds, a nod to her latest book.August transformed the Mottisfont into a global journey of heritage vegetables, grown in collaboration with the Heritage Seed Library and patients at Horatios Garden embedding a story of wellbeing, recovery, and connection directly into the design. The decor featured the funky lemon head and vintage globe planters, hanging hot air balloons and a collaboration with Lorelei London who created a bespoke, hand-painted outfit (including skirts and bow ties) featuring heritage vegetables from around the world. The textiles were crafted using sustainable, zero-water digital pigment printing on organic cotton.

This year's Chelsea stand demonstrated how to transition beautifully from the interior of a greenhouse out into the wider garden.
Right outside the greenhouses, our Pietra Oro Porcelain Paving provided a crisp,neutral low-maintenance transition zone. Perfect for showcasing outdoor living elements like the incedible bespoke BBQ table by Oli Carter Adventurous Joinery.
Then, leading up to the grand Thomas Messenger greenhouse, was the Antique Fieldmoor Slimsett path. A natural stone sandstone path cutting through the porcelain paving, adding texture, tone and interest and looking beautiful in both the wet and dry conditions, making it ideal for UK weather conditions.

2.The Greenhouse People & Lamb House Limestone
Further exploring the theme of beautiful utility, our collaboration with The Greenhouse People leans heavily into the story of the hard-working, classic English kitchen garden. Showcasing their iconic Robinsons greenhouses - renowned aluminium and Victorian-style greenhouses amongst curated flower displays.
For this display, the flooring choice was our Lamb House Limestone, part of our National trust Townhouse Range. Swapping cold, modern tiles like porcelain for a warm natural stone completely transforms the feel of a working greenhouse. Lamb House Limestone offers a beautiful, warm Cotswold-toned palette that instantly softens the metal or timber frames of the glass structures. It provides a luminous, sun-bleached look that reflects light beautifully. Beyond aesthetics, this limestone is a masterclass in durability. When selecting greenhouse floor ideas, traction is key. This year at Chelsea, our collaboration with Claverton Cloches highlights how compact garden architecture deserves the exact same level of premium material and characterful styling as a sweeping terrace. Claverton Cloches are celebrated for their exquisite, heritage-inspired cast iron and glass structures, such as their signature Victorian Octagonal Cloche. To showcase these miniature architectural gems, we paired them with our Antique Honey Cathedral Paving.
