Richmond York is part of the Westminster Porcelain Palace Collection. Inspired by the stone floors, courtyard paving, and garden pathways of great British palaces, this collection bridges the gap between traditional style, and contemporary design.
The large choice of sizes (including the interior floor tiles) meets every design permutation for bespoke projects. Porcelain is particularly attractive when linking the interior of your home to the exterior landscape, perhaps via bi-fold doors. A 10 mm (1 cm) tile thickness option in this range is offered for the interiors, though do note that the 2cm tiles can be used indoors and out, where height is not an issue.
As with all Westminster Porcelain products, colouring within each tile, and from tile to tile, is very consistent because of the latest manufacturing and quality control processes used. Because of their palatial qualities and inspiration, the Palace Porcelain Collection has been named after classic palaces and country houses in Great Britain, even though the tiles were manufactured in the heart of the Ceramic and Porcelain region of Northern Italy. The Palace Collection offers a fusion of stone and tile and offers the best properties of each.
The Palace Collection is available in 4 colours, Blenheim Stone’s beautiful grey tones and Richmond York’s warmer beige tones look as much like real York stone flags as any porcelain available. Particularly with the beautiful proportions of the 80 x 40 cm rectangle. Eltham Grey has dark grey tones and Lambeth Anthracite smooth black tones – both well suited to both contemporary and traditional home and garden settings.
Westminster Palace Porcelain is non-slip & frost-proof, which makes it particularly practical for areas where algae could grow e.g wet areas such as swimming pool paving, copings, and paths. Internally it is ideal for kitchens, hallways, and bathrooms.
