The Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod is a world-renowned festival of music and culture, and in 2017 celebrate its 70th Anniversary. Westminster Stone is proud to sponsor both the tickets, and the Thursday night concert for this superb event which is held just ten minute's drive from our Head Office.

The beautiful Welsh town of Llangollen has been staging one of the world’s most inspirational cultural festivals since 1947 and the event attracts over 50,000 visitors and around 4,000 performers each year. The Festival, which is held over 7 days includes a unique combination of competition, performance and international peace and friendship. The competitions climax with the prestigious ‘Choir of the World’ finale

This year’s lineup includes Tosca performed by Sir Bryn Terfel and American Jazz/Soul singer Gregory Porter plus the fabulous Manic Street Preachers who will close the Festival. Westminster Stone are the proud sponsors for Thursday Night’s International Celebration as our overseas competitors showcase the colour, sound and diversity that is at the heart of our unique Eisteddfod. The evening also provides the opportunity to see international stars in the making in the final of the ‘Voice of the Future’ competition.
