BBC Gardeners World Live is a must visit for UK garden enthusiasts, with the Show Gardens an essential part of this huge event at the NEC Exhibition Centre, Birmingham.

We spent time enjoying the incredible talent and hard work in the Show Gardens, with the APL Avenue a real highlight. The Association of Professional Landscapers dedicate this area to finding great garden designs in small spaces.

Watch the video to see clips from our favourite Show Gardens at this year's Gardeners World Live.

Our Show Garden Favourites

It was so hard to choose with such beautiful garden design and landscaping excellence on display,

but we found ourselves drawn back to these four stunning creations by

Creative Roots, Timotay Landscapes, Alexandra Froggatt & Lucy Bravington/Design It Landscapes.

"Harborne Botanics"

Toby Pritchard's design and execution of his brief to create a garden for a well travelled semi retired couple was mesmerising.

Toby used many common UK garden plants to create large impacts of foliage, broken up by clean lines of timber and garden paving.

"A Glimpse of South East Asia"

Despite the British weather typically not playing ball for an outdoor event, Timotay Landscapes' garden design took us straight to a luxury beach holiday vibe.

The simple timber arches over the well spaced grey flagstones invited the eye to the outdoor 4 poster bed, leaving us day dreaming about our next holiday.

"The Watchmaker's Garden"

Based on the Birmingham's Jewellry Quarter in the late Victorian era, Alexandra Froggatt's design steps the visitor back in time to a rustic garden with cobble setts and traditional cottage garden planting.

"High Line"

Winning the Best Construction Landscaper UK 2019 is some accolade, and this beautiful vision of designer Lucy Bravington was flawlessly executed by Design It Landscapes & Dan Ryan.

2019 Paving Trends

We couldn't help but notice the use of clean crisp garden paving across many of the Show Gardens.

Porcelain is a highly durable material with many striking colours and textures to choose from, similar to those seen in our Show Gardens video.

Porcelain can be used indoors and as patio paving, making the popular seamless interior to exterior transition possible.
