These beautiful traditionally riven Stonecast flagstones have been skillfully moulded to reflect the time-worn originals found within the grounds and kitchen gardens at Barrington Court in Somerset.

Part of the National Trust Kitchen Garden range, Barrington flagstones are available in a range of sizes which can be laid randomly to create an authentic, traditional appearance. Ideal for paths, garden rooms, summerhouses, and greenhouses. With soft beige & buff hues, these flagstones are stunning when matched with the complementary Brick Pavers for a multitude of interesting designs.

The Barrington flagstone’s unique blend of colours brings a warmth and richness to any garden setting. The flagstones are available in a range of sizes or can be bought in one size depending on your own bespoke design. A house has stood on the site of Barrington Court in Somerset since Domesday, but the present Tudor manor house is believed to have been completed in circa 1560.

Barrington Court was the first large country house and estate to be acquired by the National Trust, and whilst it isn’t hidden it feels secluded from the outside world. The old farm buildings at Barrington Court host a pottery and woodcarver, both of whom now sell their wares. What were once cow stalls, a yard and pens and the surrounding fields have been transformed into fragrant and delightful garden landscapes, their design being influenced by Gertrude Jekyll. A beautiful sunken lily pond, raised fragrant flower beds, an arboretum, fruit orchards and avenues are all carefully planned to provide a variety of wonderful vistas to enjoy and appreciate the wonderful property and surroundings. The stone-walled kitchen garden produces a variety of fruit and vegetables.

Barrington Flagstones are suitable for use as interior floors and can be used with underfloor heating for that touch of modern day luxury. Durable and easy to maintain, the soft beige hues lend themselves to any design scheme both indoors and out.
